Not a slow Mooney

    Many people ask me why I own a “slow” Mooney. It’s an M20F airframe with a 180 hp Lycoming engine. My response is, “It’s not that slow!” I just flew from Raleigh, NC to Montgomery, AL in 3 hrs 15 minutes. That’s not slow! It takes me 9 hours to drive that distance spin three hours. And a few minutes… I’m not complaining one bit. And, I’m burning 9 gallons per hour. There are no complaints from this G model owner!

    Thank You Mark – There is nothing wrong with your G-model or any of the other Mooney models being “Slow” – Great reputation for being Safe, Efficient, Fast and a very good looking aircraft (also the best wing design)!
